Me: what do you want for your birthday?
Them: For you to hold me.
Me: I’ll be right there.

In these moments of solitude
Pain gives way to Realization
It opens me up
Feeling love
Despite the sorrow
Real love existing
For the first time
The hardest lesson I have learned as I late, is to take off my glasses of entitlement. Their focus was set to a self-centered and insecure view.
We are safe within our own boundaries. Comfortable. Predictable. Growing into stagnation. We learn who we are and then stop growing. Out of fear or apathy, we stop.

You can search throughout the entire universe for someone who is more deserving of your love and affection than you are yourself, and that person is not to be found anywhere. You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection.
